Primary Goings On

Artist of the Fortnight

Hi my name is Emily Holland.

I’m in Year 2V and my teacher is Ms Posekany. I started at ACBC half way through Year 1 and came from Baldivis Primary.

When I am older I would like to be a Teacher. I play being a teacher and it looks like so much fun. I have always wanted to be a teacher.

Outside of school I love doing art and colouring in. I normally help out around the house as well because Dad and Mum are always busy and I don’t want them to be the only people to clean the house.

My favourite subject… that would be Maths because Ms Posekany teachers me how to work things out.

My favourite colour is PINK, because it is so bright and happy.

Primary Colour Run

The recent Primary Colour-Run was a fantastic afternoon of fun, water, paint, messy clothes and loud music. With parents ambushing children with water pistols, the local fire-brigade hosing runners down, and a very soapy foam machine we all had such a wonderful time raising funds for the P&F.

Fathers Day

Week 7 was a special week at Kindy.  We invited our Dad’s, Grandad’s, Pop’s and Poppa’s to Kindy to celebrate Fathers day together.  We all had lots of fun, especially constructing special aeroplanes and taking them on to the oval for a race.  Many thanks go to all our wonderful Fathers for making the afternoon so special.

Primary Inter-House Athletics

The recent Inter-house Athletic Carnival was a wonderful day. Congratulations to the students, parents and teachers for making it such a special day of fun and competition. It was the first time we had our Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year One & Two students join the older years. A particular thank you to Miss Shellie King and Mr Gareth Rankin for organising the program and ensuring the day ran so smoothly. See Results HERE

Tree Planting

Primary students recently planted 200 tree seedlings at the High School Campus.

The seedlings were supplied by Men of the Trees in Rockingham, and a team from Bunnings Halls Head helped to plant 12 established trees. A big thanks to Mandurah Toyota for their support in providing prizes and tree guards.
